Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026. The short version: we collect almost nothing, we don't sell anything, and we link you straight to the employer when you apply.

What we don't collect

  • We do not require an account, login, or email signup to browse FlexCareers.
  • We do not store your resume, cover letter, or job application content. Applications go directly to the employer's site.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We do not track you across other websites for advertising purposes.

What we do collect

We use minimal server logs to keep the site running and protect against abuse. These logs may include your IP address, the page you requested, your browser user agent, and a timestamp. Logs are retained for up to 30 days and are not used for marketing.

If we serve display ads on the site (via the AdSense placeholders embedded in our templates), the ad network may set cookies or use device identifiers as described in their own privacy policy. You can disable third-party cookies in your browser settings to limit this.

Cookies

FlexCareers does not set first-party tracking cookies. If you encounter cookies on this domain they originate from third-party services (such as ad networks if enabled) and are governed by those services' policies.

Outbound links to employers

When you click "Apply" on a job listing, you are leaving FlexCareers and going to the employer's own site. From that point on, the employer's privacy policy applies. We have no visibility into what happens between you and the employer.

Data sources for job listings

The job listings displayed on FlexCareers are sourced from public job feeds (currently We Work Remotely RSS and the Remotive public API). The metadata shown on each listing — title, company, description, location, salary if disclosed — comes from those public sources. If you are an employer who would like a listing removed, contact us via the contact page.

Children's privacy

FlexCareers is intended for adults searching for employment. We do not knowingly collect any data about children under 13. If you believe a child has interacted with the site in a way that involved personal data collection, please contact us.

International users

FlexCareers is operated by individuals based outside the European Union. If you are accessing the site from the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with strict data protection laws, the limited server logs described above are processed under our legitimate interest in maintaining and securing the site.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least seven days.
